Part of human nature is to explore and discover new things and places. Curiosity is what fuels us to do that and we have been curious about how we got here on earth ever since we were created. There are many different accounts of how we were created and by who including the Bible and Greek Mythology.
The Bible creation story is in completely different circumstances than the Greek one. In the Bible creation story, it is just God, and nothing else and he decides to create the earth and everything in it out of love. In the Greek one two Titans, Prometheus and Epimetheus, once rulers of the universe are forced to create man as slaves of the Olympians. So compared to the Bible, the Greek creation story is fairly hostile.
In terms of gifts given to the humans, there is almost no similarities between the Bible and Greek Mythology. Epimetheus was given the task of creating all sorts of different animals and gave away all the qualities so that there was none left for man, so Prometheus gave them fire and had them walk upright like the God's. The one way this is similar to the Bible story is when Prometheus had man walk upright like the God's because God created man in his image. Other than that, the Bible story is completely different because it quotes, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth". This means that man was given all the gifts in the land and was entitled to all of the animals and plants for food.
